Descriptor search
Descriptors are standardized index terms, describing persons, families, institutions, places, buildings and issues. They are grouped in various thesauri (lists). You can search though all thesauri for a descriptor at the same time (default) or within a certain thesaurus. Subsequently you will receive a result list with all the units of description that are linked to the descriptor. E.g. enter the search term %archite (with the percent sign) in the search field, to find persons and institutions with des descriptors "ArchitektIn" (architect), "Architektur" (architecture) etc.
